I recently completed the brilliant IPA Excellence Diploma, which has taken 15-odd months of every waking hour of my life it would seem... and yet I'd go back and do it all again twice. That's how good the course is.
So for my final thesis, I wrote a piece called The Communis Manifesto, which is all about how companies must learn in this new era how to connect to people and communities, rather than just continuing to shout at them from afar.
In this economic downturn as advertising budgets get slashed, I don't believe there's ever been a better time to look at your company and work out exactly how you should be talking to people
