Bhav and the guys at OPera have spent the last week reading, analysing and writing a 'what's in it for us' synopsis of the Digital Britain report. All I managed to do was glance through it, and post a funny video.
Anyway, I'll going to read their whole thing imminently, but the first thing I'll share from it is the word cloud. I'm dismayed by the lack of use of the word 'people', but that's maybe just a current bugbear of mine, rather than something significant...
I put that down far more to it just being a government document than anything else (even given the topic - it's still authored by bureaucrats).

digital britain has a strange attitude to radio
does anyone actually want DAB ?

I suspect people want it, but they want their nice little niche stations... except there's no way traditional radio stations can afford the license to broadcast numerous small channels, as we've seen.
The only way to deliver that type of radio is through the internet. People want devices that broadcast that stuff to them. They don't care if it's DAB or not. But all the people who invested in the DAB platform still want it to be DAB...
